Sagraitalia was involved in organising an Italian Sagra evening at Creake Abbey Barns in north west Norfolk last Friday night and it proved to be a popular event with nearly 80 guests present that evening.
A Sagra is an Italian food and drink event normally based around one type of food or drink and normally each village and town has a different food theme, such as a particular type of food or drink, lamb, pork, mussels, beer etc.

Sagraitalia along with Olivaverde will be holding tastings of Italian and Maltese olive oils in London, Norwich and Kings Lynn in the summer and autumn of 2011. The first is to be held in Belgravia in early May possibly with the co operation of Slow Food London, with the following workshop to be held in Norwich in the last week of May.

We are all excited to be going to the Slow wine event in Victoria, London on March 11th and we are planning to hold a small party later that evening for some of the exhibitors and members of Slow Food.

Sagraitalia has had a busy few months and has in the past few weeks we have finally managed to arrange some dates for events in the first few months of 2011.
The first which will be held again at the same venue in Hackney E8, London is in March at the Studio in Well Street. It has been a busy few weeks for us at Sagraitalia and at last we are in a position to start booking venues for our exciting Autumn and Winter food and Italian events in London and eastern England.  In early October there will be an Italian style Festa and Sagra in Hackney in east London and this has already roused a lot of interest from local residents and businesses as well as our many friends who wish to attend.
